Permanent Vacation 3: Easy Wanderlings, Adi Rao & Tarini

Easy Wanderlings return to Chennai for an intimate live performance as part of their Ten Years on the Map anniversary tour, headlining the third edition of Permanent Vacation in Chennai. Curated by Metal Chennai, Permanent Vacation is a live music series celebrating independent artists and original music, hosted at The Spotted Deer, Hotel Palomar.

One of India's most loved independent soul-folk bands, they're known for their warm harmonies, cinematic songwriting and immersive live performances. Over the past decade, they've performed at festivals including Lollapalooza India, NH7 Weekender and VH1 Supersonic, while their 2022 EP Caught in a Parade was named Best Indian EP of the Year by Rolling Stone India. As part of their Ten Years on the Map anniversary tour, the band brings an intimate evening of songs, stories and music from across their journey, alongside a first glimpse of their forthcoming album.

Opening the evening are Tarini and Adi Rao, showcasing original music from Chennai's independent music scene.

Tarini is a singer-songwriter from Chennai. Her music draws inspiration from the likes of Taylor Swift, Lizzy Mcalpine, Sara Bareilles for their lyrical styles and the soundscapes of art they create. She has released two singles, and an EP titled 'From These Cracks A Flower Grew' and is set to release her next single later this year.
