About This Event
Mother's Day Out is an event created by a kid who loves her mother more than anything in this world. The joy of comedy is something that all mothers have given us throughout life, this Mother's Day let us change the roles!
Bring your mother to meet other funny moms and their adult kids. This event is curated for people who have zero experience in comedy/performance/any art form, it is open to ALL*!
We will primarily play a bunch of games and have fun. Maybe we might learn a little bit of improv comedy if we have time!
There will be chairs to sit, drinking water and clean restrooms.
The venue does not allow food or single-use plastics into the premises, please plan accordingly.
We would suggest bringing a refillable water bottle to the event. We will be providing free drinking water.
The venue is near Besant nagar beach, so it is suggested to wear comfy clothes for you to go to the beach before/after the show. No dress code.
Who is doing this:
The “kid” in the first line is Saga, a comedian. She has performed in over 100 shows and worked on even more. She loves teaching multiple different art forms and this time, she decided to teach her favorite humans; mothers. If you love your mother and you both enjoy a good laugh, this might be the event for you.
In total there are 3 professional artists running this event. In total they carry 20+ years of live performance experience. Just walk in and trust them to let you get a glimpse into comedy while having fun with a bunch of very cool moms!
LIMITED SEATS ONLY, PLEASE BOOK SOON!
*We are trying to make this as inclusive as possible. The venue has elevators and it is wheelchair friendly. In case you/your mother has any other specific needs, please DM the organisers and we will try our best to help you.
This event is open only to people above the age of 18. We will come back soon with an event for little kids!

About Saga
Description
I am an artist. I perform and teach primarily in the live performance space. I do improv as well as stand up comedy. Apart from this, I am a writer and acting coach for indie projects. In the live art space, I have experience in being an artist, producer (EP & CP) and host for events. While I dabble in various different forms of art, comedy is my favorite genre.
