Moshpet Strike #1: The Outbreak Begins
The infection is spreading. Moshpet Strike #1 descends upon Aura Studios on January 10th for a night of chaos.
Born from a long-standing idea present before the demise of the local Chennai Music Scene, MOSHPET aims to bring back a much-needed space for live music in Chennai, a place where musicians of all ages can come together to celebrate music. Moshpet aims to serve as a launchpad for many of the city’s upcoming acts
With MOSHPET, in collaboration with Aura Studios, we’re rebuilding that space rooted in community, creativity, and loud, honest music.
The Lineup
Frozen Factory (Finland)
Direct from Helsinki, Frozen Factory brings a diverse and dramatic metal sound to the quarantine zone. Their music is an immersive fusion of metal, prog, and alt-rock, drawing unexpected influences from legends like Pink Floyd and Alice in Chains to Iron Maiden and Depeche Mode.
Led by the dynamic, high-reaching vocals of British-born Stephen Baker and the powerhouse drumming of Marianne Heikkinen, their live performance hits the sweet spot between prog-rock elegance and the raw grit of grunge and heavy metal. Expect detailed storytelling, surprising twists, and a twin-guitar attack that will leave Aura Studios reeling.
Perception Delta:
Adding to the devastation, Chennai based Progressive Metal band Perception Delta brings mind-bending riffs and technical precision to ensure the epidemic is absolute.
