About This Event
Welcome to this mysterious space where a life force so indescribable wants to be sentient and overwhelms spaces trying hard to form structures by taking over nature - creatures, water, rocks, etc. But our fractal universe has an exponential dance with it. And it cannot break free.
#OmnivoidLabs edition 005 with pause.dxa's #hypnagogic installation & soundscapes molded in Indian classical and #cymatic visual aura, with Hemant Sreekumar's live data coded #algorithmic #powerelectronics and with Spryk's fresh new explorative 'Technomagic" show - @neuralnatak . All of the above about to hit you on the 7th Feb 2026 at Aura Studios, Chennai. Gates: 5PM

pause.dxa is an experimental sound and music experience project by Sahitya and Harsh based in Auroville, India. Starting as a sound immersion project in January 2023, pause.dxa has evolved into an exploration of how one experiences sound and music.
pause.dxa's work is heavily inspired by the perspective of merging traditional sound practices and modern approaches. Going back to our respective roots, we bring together Dhrupad vocal improvisation (alaap) along with electronically synthesized soundscapes with drones, modular synthesis, field recordings and more.

Hemant Sreekumar got involved with noise in 1986 when he started tripping on television and radio static. He currently gains increasing joy in embroidering coded computational processes to create sonic situations. He has trained in art history and digital media. He has worked in the past as a programme coordinator at Khoj International Artists’ Association, New Delhi. More recently he has been a researcher at Compart, Bremen, documenting early computer generated/algorithmic art. At present he works as a Data Visualization Consultant for W+K. His present compositions deal with notions of measurement, decay, data sonification and stochastic emergence.
https://spryk.in/about/
Spryk is the electronic music and art exploration of Mumbai-based Tejas Nair and is recognised as one of India’s leading electronic musicians and emerging media artists—celebrated for his immersive audio-visual performances and work at the intersection of digital art, technology, and culture.
Spryk’s artistic expression blends traditional motifs with forward-thinking approaches to sound and visuals. Over a dynamic and evolving career, his work has spanned larger-than-life performances, immersive installations, video game design, and experimental club music.
In 2025, Spryk delivered a landmark live audio-visual set at Lollapalooza India, unveiling a bold new sound that fuses electronic music, Bollywood-inspired drama, and cinematic storytelling. Featuring an all-star lineup of guest performers, the show introduced audiences to a future-facing, genre-fluid sonic universe. Over the past decade, Spryk has toured festivals and venues across India with a wide range of conceptual and collaborative performances. His evolving body of work explores themes of memory, urban life, folk traditions, and the complex entanglements between human experience and artificial intelligence.
