Metal Chennai returns with Edition 2 of SARAVEDI Featuring another Firecracker of a lineup of live bands: The Rhythm Shaw Trio, The Adarsh Arjun Project & Vihara! Saravedi is Metal Chennai’s live music IP built around artists who push things a little louder, stranger and further than your average gig lineup.

Rhythm Shaw brings his new instrumental album 'Nothing to Lose' to stages across India. Featuring Rhythm Shaw on guitars, Gino Banks on drums and Sheldon D’Silva on bass, the tour explores rock, fusion and jazz through an experimental approach to sound, textures and live arrangements, creating a sonic experience that goes far beyond a traditional trio.

Adarsh Arjun, hailing from Kochi, Kerala, India, is recognized as an independent solo musician celebrated for his innovative instrumental Project. In 2023, he unveiled his musical prowess through the release of three singles and a distinguished album titled 'Aches and Echoes.' Notably, his work showcases remarkable collaborations with acclaimed artists such as “Richard Henshall” of “Haken” and “Jake Howsam Lowe” of “Plini” and “The Helix Nebula”. Adarsh's compositions, drawing inspiration from luminaries like PLINI, David Maxim Micic, and Dream Theater, boast a fusion of mesmerizing melodies and powerful riffs. Infusing elements of Indian Carnatic style with Progrock/Progmetal influences, his music captivates listeners with its unique blend.

Vihara is a Chennai-based Carnatic progressive fusion band that weaves together Carnatic music, rock, and other genres, all while staying rooted in the discipline and depth of Indian classical tradition. The band has carried Indian fusion music onto some of the world's biggest stages. In 2024, Vihara was the sole Indian band to represent the country as a part of the world's largest sporting event, Paris Olympics.
